My Top 4 Mickey Milkovich lines:

Mickey Milkovich quickly became one of my favourite characters on Shameless purely because of how much he changed over the years, and because so much of that change was either because of love, or for love. This is my list of my Top 4 Mickey lines which when I first heard I melted.

  1. Season 10, Episode 11: “Location, Location, Location”

Noel pours so much emotion in this one line and its over in one second but I love it so much.

2. Season 10, Episode 10: “Now Leaving Illinois”

Just watch the scene and tell me that his raw love in this line doesn’t get the best of you!

3. Season 7, Episode 10: “Ride or Die”

From “Not everyone gets to blurt out how they really feel” to this historic line, HOW can anyone not see how much in love Mickey has always been?

4. Season 5, Episode 6: “Crazy Love”

I was already mostly crying in this episode so Mickey declaring this was one of the emotionally good parts of this episode.

Quote 1.7

Today, I visited a book sale – and I bought 30 books (oops) and so here’s a quote keeping in tradition with that happy feeling!

jhumpa-lahiri-book-quote-1531936024

“I feel like people get lost when they think of happiness as a destination. We always think that someday we’ll be happy. When we get that car or that job or that person in our lives who will fix everything. But happiness is a mood and it’s a condition. Not a destination. It’s like being tired or hungry. It’s not permanent. It comes and goes and that’s OK. And if people would think that way, they’d find happiness more often.”
– Julian Baker, One Tree Hill

“We do our very best, but sometimes it’s just not good enough. We buckle our seat belts, we wear a helmet, we stick to the lighted paths, we try to be safe. We try so hard to protect ourselves, but it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference. Cause when the bad things come, they come out of nowhere. The bad things come suddenly, with no warning. But we forget that sometimes that’s how the good things come too.”
– Meredith Grey, Grey’s Anatomy

“Now I realize that there is no righteous path, it’s just people trying to do their best in a world where it is far too easy to do your worst.”
– Castiel, Supernatural

“When you’re a kid, they tell you it’s all… Grow up, get a job, get married, get a house, have a kid, and that’s it. But the truth is, the world is so much stranger than that. It’s so much darker. And so much madder. And so much better.”
– Elton Pope, Doctor Who

Since I graduate exactly in three months, I obviously need great graduation quotes for the million pictures I will take (these pictures have been planned since the past five years) – keeping in spirit of that, here are some cliché graduation quotes!

Quote 1.4

Over the years, I’ve realized that I LOVE Terribly Tiny Tales content. Their micro fiction and their long dedicated stories are amazing. Everyday their writing surprises me. When I was clearing my laptop of junk, I found this one where I had saved it and kept it because it spoke volumes to me.

Sometimes I can’t help but relate to thoughts like this one on an institutional level.

Other days I’m obsessed with Gone, Gone, Gone by Philips Philips.

Liberal Arts (2012): A Very Biased Review

I watched Liberal Arts day before yesterday and it was a movie I had actually wanted to watch for quite some time. Liberal Arts is one of those movies that has actors that everyone just knows. The movie starts and the first thought through your head is, “Hey, thats the guy from How I met Your Mother!” – the protagonist of the movie is Jesse Fisher, played by Josh Radnor (who’s actually directed, and produced and written the movie as well). Jesse Fisher is 35 years old and has a degree in English and History that is getting him nowhere in life. Jesse Fisher lives in New York, gets dumped by his girlfriend, and then goes back to the university he graduated from – Ohio University, for the farewell of his second favourite professor ever.

If you’ve watched Avengers: Age of Ultron (which you definitely should have watched), the first thought you get when you’re introduced to Zibby, is, “That’s Scarlet Witch from Marvel –  but, where’s the accent?” – Elizabeth Olsen plays a 19 year old sophomore who begins a quick friendship with Jesse and makes him forget that he’s actually not 19 years old anymore.

The movie overall however seems to be quite random, but I enjoyed it very much for one very simple reason: Every single character in the movie is obsessed with reading! (And actually enjoys it shamelessly) The movie has endless book references and a TON of quotes to be used for various instagram posts. Apart from Jesse and Zibby’s friendship, the movie has quite a few complex characters and various sub-plots, and everything involves books! I loved the movie and I loved the fact that millions of people rely on millions of books. Additionally, the movie had some of the most relatable quotes.

Three Day Quote Challenge: Day Three

Here’s my quote for Day Three!

10686995_903083473043766_2114462928825070150_n

Last year, I had a gigantic fight with one of my really close friends and we didn’t talk for months and during this time he became friends with one of the girls I hated very, very, very much. When we did finally figure things out, we both realized that the only reason we had stopped talking was because of a misunderstanding and nothing else. The day we sat and talked everything out was the day I found this picture and it’s meant a lot ever since.

I’d like to thank enthrallingdimple for nominating me 😀
