The Book List- Part I

It’s August, 2015 and soon the year will end. And in these eight months I’ve read a total of 20 books yay!(I’m seriously proud of myself)

So here are a few of them!

1)The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
This is one book I’ve wanted to read since a very, very long time. I couldn’t find copies in any of the book stores nearby and when I finally got it a month ago, I was ecstatic! I have to say, it was definitely worth the wait. Oscar Wilde is great and his writing is even greater. This classic is a must read!

2)The Maze Runner Series by James Dashner
The Indian covers say “For fans of the Hunger Games”, but believe me when I say you CAN read this series without having read the Hunger Games. It’s really well written and everyone needs something to keep them occupied post-Harry Potter. TMR has become one of my favourite series now!

3)Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
I’ve heard a great deal about this book, and it does not disappoint. The shifting narrations between the two characters is really, really good and some of the quotes in the book are so good!

4)The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith
So you probably know but if you don’t, RG is actually JK Rowling, so well obviously I had to read it! JKR did really well in her first crime novel but I think no one can really get over her magical image. Also, this was my first crime novel ever where I was correctly able to guess the murderer!(way to go me!)

So this is it for now, and how many of you have read any of these?
